Wisdom tooth problems
Cause
Pain may occur due to tooth decay or food being trapped between the gum and tooth.
Symptoms
Symptoms may include pus extrusion, swollen gums, discomfort on biting and bad taste.
Treatment
Pain relief may be provided by cleaning around the wisdom tooth and prescribing antibiotics. The wisdom tooth may be eventually extracted.
